Volage is a work of... light character, like the amorous seduction historically attached to this instrument.

Like many of us, I have always been fascinated by the rustling and often (but not always) screaming flight of thousands of starlings gathering in flight to seek a place to nest at night. This real ballet, very "plastic", where the birds synchronize at the very moment when one of the leading birds changes direction, is deeply poetic.

Volage is similar to this type of plastic, here sound, constantly moving. The bias of a timbre work is rather unusual for this type of instrumental formation. A very bodily sensitivity emanates from it: from the caress to the sudden abruptness, passing through great moments of rest, quasi-stops of time.
