      Under this very title "Century of Louis the Fourteenth" reveals a very French relationship to the art of sounds : painting feelings, such as Forqueray, Froberger, Sainte-Colombe, Marais... among others did in their time, giving French music this particular and sensitive color, so much so that at the time of its rediscovery,  the viol will have seen its "spirit" and its technique as emblematic of this century whereas like any instrument, this family of instruments should have evolved over the same title as all the instruments if we had not preferred the family of violins.

      Desires not shared are so many unfulfilled desires, broken impulses, moments of tenderness without answers, complaints. .. characteristics constituting the form of the work made up of departures and redepartures, like so many new paths that get lost.
